Keith Kaan

Founder/Co-owner

Raised on a ranch in Wyoming, Keith Kaan worked in the oilfield service industry for most of his career. Keith graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of WY and had a fascinating career as an innovator for companies like Schlumberger.

Keith moved to Mason, Texas in 1998 where he purchased and restored several old homes, and began volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. Finding ways to make the Habitat homes more sustainable led Keith to dive in to the world of solar energy. Soon Mason had 8 solar-powered Habitat houses and Keith launched Greater Texas Solar with partner Bill Skinner.

"I have been watching the solar industry over several years and find it fascinating. I believe in what we are doing and wake up every day excited to help home and business owners take control of their energy futures."
